Van Larkins recently joined forces with Gold Coast based company, Fretfest, signing a one year contract as a part of the Fretfest Mentorship Program.

During the months of March and April 2013, Fretfest coordinated an Australian tour for Van, with Canada guitarist, Maneli Jamal.
As a result, audiences from Melbourne to Woombye have been exposed to the new progressive guitar style usually only seen in Canada and the USA.
